On my knees, already beaten
longing for my end, I looked up to God
and sworn not to forget my belief in steel
my weapon... my truth
Suddenly a huge shining
showed me the light among so much darkness.
I rammed at my enemy again
And renewed my force
The secrets were revealed to me
by ancestors believers of evil
In my daze I had a vision
An unusual one, you’ll hear it
It is said it was forged in heaven and burned in hell
by demons fallen in battle in a crusade against God
It defeated peoples and shires which didn‘t understand
Deadly mystery
And if wielded in the name of justice, no one could defeat it.
Adored in times of war by good and evil
was used to free empires under the sign of evil
Brought to life myths and legends you’ll hear warriors recite
Gave birth to our heavy metal, without its glory it will not exist.
Thus in my battle hymns, steel shall be named
It was vital in our crusade still marching to Valhalla.
There I'll meet my father and my brother, who are longing for me
holding their weapons up in the sky and they’ll join me to their army.
I’ll drink wine from the horn and I’ll implore forgiveness
for all my past faults. And the great God shall understand.
I’ll take my place in the lines and shall wield my steel.
Again in the name of justice. From here to eternity.

If Elric had a soundtrack it would be this. It's everything you want from a epic metal album. Like a hot poker in the eye, but in a good way. Scott Malthouse
